To unveil the Houston Roughnecks to the world, we took a slightly different approach. During research I observed that most professional sports teams unveiled their jerseys with bold sexy videos highlighting the snazzy new kits – our approach instead would be to showcase our new threads to the players first, and create the content around their reaction. It seemed like a fitting next step in documenting our journey as a franchise, and an early opportunity to give the world a glimpse of some of our players’ personalities.
- Collaborated with league executives to create a comprehensive roll-out plan integrating social media, digital ads, broadcast, and publicity.
- Collaborated with third party design and video agency on brand creative.
- Created and executed content gameplan, including event planning/management, location scouting, content production, and social media distribution.
