The XFL regular season was scheduled to kick off exactly one week after the Superbowl; and my goal was to tap into some of the excitement from the weekend without doing too much. What we came up with was a teaser campaign that let football fans know that they had a few more weeks of the sport they love. In addition to what we had planned, the city would be recognizing the kickoff of our inaugural season by lighting city hall – we definitely jumped on this content opportunity.
